New Jersey survived Superstorm Sandy and we were proud to claim we were “Stronger than the Storm.” So too can the states and territories ravaged by the recent hurricanes survive and rebuild. But they need our help and that's why the New Jersey State Society is leading this fundraising campaign.
And as an added benefit of contributing, you are invited to a New Jersey State Society "Thank You" reception at the Beer Institute on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC , Wednesday, October 18, 6 pm to 7:30 pm. Game 5 will be on the TV!
Funding and contributions from around the country helped the Garden State survive and so too will your contribution help the most recent hurricane victims. The Red Cross gave over $312 million in aid and supplies to New Jersey during and after the hurricane. The Red Cross is now focused on providing food, water, supplies and housing to the most severely affected victims in the states and territories of the most recent hurricanes. The work will go on for many months, even years.
Contribute and join us at the New Jersey State Society's Hurricane Relief "Thank You" Reception on Wednesday, October 18, at the Beer Institute at 440 First Street NW Suite 350, Washington DC, on Capitol Hill, a short walk from Union Station Red Line. Enjoy fabulous, complimentary beer (on tap and bottled), soft drinks, appetizers and good conversation.
Please make your tax deductible donation to the Red Cross on this site. Then RSVP at NJStateSociety@gmail.com with your name and that of your guest. We hope you will contribute at least $25, but any amount $10 or above enables you to attend the "thank you" event and share in our message of support and goodwill. More details at www.njss.org
