The administration and faculty of Good Shepherd Academy recognize the need and desire to further expand computer science into the curriculum. It is our hope to achieve this goal, in part, through the use of the “Ozobot” STEM program. This education program presents an innovative way to teach programming, Math, and Science, while engaging students with the "Ozobot" robots.
Through the purchase of one classroom set, the “Ozobot Bit Classroom Kit”, teachers in Grades K-8 can provide meaningful STEM learning experiences, in an affordable, portable way. Our plan is to introduce a “Coding Club” to the 2nd grade students in the Spring, with the program expanding through all grades in the future.
