Many people run for many different reasons. I myself, ran my first Half Marathon 2 days after a friday night football game my senior year of highschool. Wow, that was not easy at all. I was able to finish the race with the help of many people cheering me on. Especially my older brother Michael, who ran with me (In his jeans) for the last 2.5 miles of the race. Later that year, I was also blessed to have the oppurtunity to go over to Kenya and be with the Pokot people. That trip was a blessing in many ways for me, and to say the least has really changed my out look on running and fundrasing money for the Pokot Tribe in Western Kenya. It's more personal to me now. They aren't an unknown people group to me anymore, they are a known people group to me and I'm going to help my people, my friends and brothers and sisters in Christ. Please join with me in prayer and petition, if you feel Jesus wants you to be a part of this mission, bringing CLEAN WATER and Christ into the lives of our brothers and sisters in Western Kenya. Thank you for your prayers.
