Last year in October 2016, my family and I set out to raise money for the Pokot tribe in a way that would impact people around the world that we don't even know. Between the 5 of us, we ran 26.2 miles. I was so inspired after running my portion that I signed up for the International Half Marathon. Yes, 13.1 miles I am running so the Pokot Tribe will have something that us in America have access to whenever we want 24/7. My family sponors a little girl named Belinda, and she is the whole reason I train so hard. She is a part of this tribe and knowing that she walks so far for "clean" water is so sad. I feel blessed to be able to partake in this again.
Hope Water Project helps hundreds of millions of people around the world who are suffering today because they do not have access to clean water. Hope Water Project is committed to providing clean water by partnering with communities and drilling deep water wells in some of the world’s neediest areas. Our current project is to provide 1,000 new water wells for the Pokot tribe in northwestern Kenya.
We need YOUR help to make these wells possible. If you simply can't donate, then please say some prayers for not only myself, but the entire Hope Water Project team who are running this fall.
Thank you and God Bless!!
