Mass Mentoring Partnership is fueling the movement to expand empowering youth-adult relationships across Massachusetts. MMP serves more than 325 partners statewide, supporting more than 35,000 youth in mentoring relationships.
Youth mentoring has always been extremely important to me, and I've been lucky to serve as a mentor in different programs and capacities, in undergrad at Clark AKOG, and now as a Big Sister with Big Sister Association of Greater Boston. I've also benefitted from great mentors growing up--from teachers, to family members, to coaches, to coworkers. These experiences have helped me seize opportunities and reach my potential in a way that wouldn't have possible without such an amazing web of support behind me.
I've seen the impact MMP has had in communities around Massachusetts as a volunteer, Americorps member, and now as a staff member. Working towards the mission of ensuring access to positive role models for young people is something I'm excited to be a part of everyday.
I believe having access to empowering relationships is a right for every young person, enabling them to thrive and grow.
We all have someone to thank for being a mentor to us along the way. Please consider paying it forward by helping me to raise critical funds to execute MMP's mission, while I prepare to run one of the greatest races in the world. Thank you for joining me on the race to relationships!
