On September 20th Hurricane Maria made landfall on Puerto Rico, devastating the island and everything in its path. 3.4 million American citizens call Puerto Rico home, they contribute to the American economy paying taxes and serve proudly in our military. As we have seen lately, and when tragedy strikes, Americans rise up and we help our fellow citizens in need.
At the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (USHCC) Foundation, we believe that we can play a special role in moments like these as conveners. Bringing together the power of our 200+ local chambers and 260 of corporate partners to do good. With that, we started the United States Hispanic Chamber of Commerce Foundation Puerto Rico Relief Fund and all profits raised will go directly to the First Lady of Puerto Rico’s initiative Unidos por Puerto Rico.
Help us in our efforts to raise money for Puerto Rico, every contribution brings us one step closer to our goal. Your partnership does not have to begin or stop there, we are looking for an army of fundraisers to help us achieve our goal. Join us by starting your own raiser page at the top of this link by clicking "join the team." Reach out to your peers, suppliers, friends, and family, encourage them to step up and give as well. We believe that together we can make a difference for the people of Puerto Rico one step at a time.
