The Oakmont Carnegie Library is a valuable community resource to children in Oakmont and Verona. We offer children's programming throughout the year. My children love the Thursday after school program. I see older elementary children there with their younger siblings. It gives them a safe place to hang out after school. The library also gives children books to build their own library. I am so proud to be a member of the Board and support this community asset. Please consider donating. I promise it will bring a smile to more than one child's face.
Every child deserves to be able to be read to and to be ready to read. Oakmont Carnegie Library provides an in-house preschool, toddler based literacy classes, STEM programs for both elementary and middle school students in both Oakmont and Verona. Our goal is to create an environment that is focused on children and their lifelong development. The programs themselves offer opportunities for literacy support, team building and creative problem solving that is carried with children as they advance through school and later on in their adult lives. Your support is needed so that we are able to continue this type of programming and expand it so every child in these communities has a safe place to learn and grow.
