THE STORY:

GET A GREAT MOVIE, SUPPORT 2 GREAT CAUSES, PAY WHAT YOU WILL

Hey there everyone:

To mark the 5th anniversary of the Occupy Wall Street movement, a 2016 digital reissue of my feature length film American Autumn: an Occudoc + 10 hours of bonus coverage is available to stream or download on a "pay what you will basis."

I'm donating 50% of the proceeds from the 2016 digital reissue to a few amazing organizations. If you elect to make a donation in any amount on this page, I will take 50% of that donation and give it to the OWS Radical Blogger Fund. The additional 50% will help fund my next feature-length project, WHEN WE WERE CAPITALISTS, which begins production this November.

So, you are free to donate any amount, but I hope you donate generously so that this movie can give back to some amazing organizations and make possible more work like this.

When your donation is processed, you will receive an email with a link to a password protected web page. Once there, you will be able to stream or download the entire movie + 10 hours of bonus footage.

This campaign runs through October 7, 2016.

About Occupy Wall Street  | Radical Blogger Fund (from https://org2.salsalabs.com/o/7315/donate_page/ows-nyc-bloggers)

The Radical Blogger Fund is established to support and amplify an alternative to the belligerent neoliberal narrative currently dominating our media.

The Fund is awarded primarily to bloggers who provide original content to occupywallst.nyc and its social media channels. Additionally, it is used to support the monthly administrative costs of the site. As the fund grows, support will be forwarded to outside applicants who are radical writers for group destinations on social media platforms.

Administrative oversight and coordination is the responsibility of the team behind Tweetship and the Alliance for Global Justice.

About American Autumn: an Occudoc
In September of 2011, a few hundred protesters begin a conversation in Zuccotti Park that now includes several hundred million people. What is your one demand? American Autumn: an Occudoc was the first feature-length documentary on the Occupy movement to enjoy a theatrical release.

Here is what the critics had to say:

The New York Times: "(American Autumn) is calm and smart, offsetting its stridency with discussion, music, even
humor, while issuing a call to arms."

MichaelMoore.com: "This is not amateur hour. This is a movie as well made as any Hollywood blockbuster."

Variety: "American Autumn impresses most where many docs disappoint, expanding its scope without short-changing the wider subjects it covers."

The Hollywood Reporter: "An impassioned celebration of the Occupy Wall Street movement."

Daily News: " … this necessary and informative documentary looks at the faces behind the Occupy Wall Street movement… it is an effective, and heartfelt, clarion call."

Fire Dog Lake: "Dennis Trainor, Jr, is no outsider, but a gonzo journalist at these events."
