Hi, Ashley Loftin here.
I was diagnosed with OCD in 2016 after nearly 16 years of struggling with the symptoms.
If I had known what the REAL symptoms of OCD were, not just the popular punchline media version of OCD, it's possible I could have found help much sooner, and a lot of the pain I experienced wouldn't have been necessary.
That's why I want to raise money for the International OCD Foundation, located here in Boston. I want to play a role in educating people about OCD - both the illness and what it's like to manage the symptoms and how to get help.
Hell, that's why I originally started ocdwrangler.com!
And, here's one final kicker: My fiancé has OCD. Isn't that wild? So, do it for me. Do it for him. Do it for the 3% of the population with OCD and the many more suffering in silence.
I can't wait to walk with everyone on June 3rd.
