Every child who has experienced challenges in their lives deserves a helping hand to keep them safely at home with their family, in school and in their own communities. Ocean Partnership for Children, a nonprofit organization, does just that by providing a care manager to each and every child or teen who may be struggling with a mental health issue (depression, cutting, anxiety), addiction (drug or alcohol). or intellectual and developmental disabilities (developmental delays, autism).
Ocean Partnership care managers take a unique wraparound approach, by involving the youth and family in the planning for services needed, as well as involving natural supports in the lives of the children that can help, from coaches to favorite aunts to clergy. Care managers never give up on finding whatever is needed to help that child and family succeed and thrive.
While many of Ocean Partnership's services are covered through a Department of Children and Families grant as well as Medicaid, there are other services that may be needed for that youth and family that they cannot afford. All funding raised will be used by Ocean Partnership to provide these special services that will help the over 700 children and families in Ocean County, NJ under the agency's care.
