OceanVida is a non for profit organization, based in Miami, that is dedicated to the matter of ocean conservation.
Our mission : Educating the Next Generation of Ocean Defenders
We are raising funds to provide scholarships to low-income kids so they can become “Guardians of the Sea” with Oceanvida Foundation. Our goal is to raise $25,000. The funds will be used to enroll 50 local kids in our after-school program called “Guardians of the Sea,” which combines hands-on ocean conservation with non-motorized water sports such as kayaking and stand-up paddling (SUP).
Oceanvida Foundation is a Miami-based nonprofit organization dedicated to preserving the ocean through ocean education and non-motorized water sports. We connect people with the ocean, especially children, so they can enjoy and protect our beautiful sea.
To accomplish this goal, Oceanvida has teamed up with Miami Kiteboarding to bring to South Florida, Xtreme Crossing Gulfstream 2017 event. This extraordinary watersport event will feature World Class Kite Foiling Champion Max Nocher along with local Miami Kite Foilers taking on the challenge of a Gulfstream crossing between Bimini, Bahamas and Miami, Florida. The event is scheduled for December 2017. To follow this great event, or for more info, visit oceanvida website.
