Thanks for stopping by. As some of you may know, I've been volunteering with iMentor for the past few years. My mentee is Renzo, who is currently a high school junior at the Urban Assembly School for Careers in Sports. We've been working together since he was a small 6-foot-tall freshman, and through iMentor, I've seen him grow academically, socially, professionally, and vertically. I am currently helping Renzo prepare to ace the Regents exams and develop the interview skills needed to acquire a summer job. We are also looking ahead to bolstering his resume for college applications in the fall.
iMentor helps students like Renzo develop the various skills needed to graduate high school college ready and succeed in college. Personal mentors send weekly emails on a topic that iMentor provides and meet their mentees at least once a month at a group event organized by iMentor. This year, 2,400 New York City high school students will work one-on-one with their mentors. In order for iMentor to expand its reach while continuing to support pairs like Renzo and me, please consider making a donation -- every little bit helps!
