THE STORY:

You can save Lulu's life.
Lulu the cat is the only companion of a woman in a wheelchair. Her owner is very worried because she knows Lulu is very sick with a condition called “megacolon.” This leads to chronic (and very painful) constipation. The medication Lulu takes now is no longer working.
Lulu needs surgery, and she needs it now. It’ll save her life, but it’ll cost at least $2,000 for the surgery. For a senior on a fixed income, finding money for this is a true hardship. Unless someone like you helps, Lulu will die.
Lulu’s veterinarian contacted One Health Organization for the additional help this beautiful cat needs. Now we need to ask for your help.
Your donation to the Project Noah Fund held at One Health Organization will help Lulu be healthy again. Please give generously today.
One Health Organization, founded by Dr. Anna M. van Heeckeren serves the pets of seniors and the disabled living on 200% or less of the Federal poverty guidelines in Cleveland, Cuyahoga County, and nearby areas. A $40 annual membership payment entitles members to $250 in veterinary payment vouchers. Additional support is available for those at 75% or less of the Federal Poverty guidelines. Fifteen area veterinarians currently provide vital services through the veterinary payment program and the Project Noah Fund.
For a senior on a fixed income having to choose between providing care for their pet, or taking their pet to an animal rescue, shelter, or foster agency is stressful. One Health Organization programs help to keep people and pets healthy at home. The Project Noah Fund developed by Dr. Brian Forsgren of Gateway Animal Clinic was established to help cover ongoing or emergency veterinary expenses like Lulu’s. Now we need your help!
Supporting One Health Organization and the Project Noah Fund in the Saving Pets Challenge will help Lulu and many other pets to be healthy and pain-free. With the help of your generous donation, One Health Organization will maximize this great opportunity to increase capacity by raising funds and winning the $50,000 First Prize. Please share this great event by email and social media with everyone in your network of contacts. Thank you
