Oliver's Surgery Fund
Organized by: Sophia Krishnaswami
Oliver is a gray tabby my wife and I rescued from a junkyard in November of 2014. He was just 4 months old at the time. He was covered in motor oils and extrenely dehydrated. We captured him just before a winter storm he would not have survived, bathed him, and nursed him back to health. Now he is a big happy cat who purs all the time, loves everyone he meets and is just about the chillest cat around. This past summer, after paying for a wedding and some major car repairs, we woke up at 2 am to him howling and growling and bleeding around his genitals. We took him to the vet ER where they either had to put him down or perform emergency surgery to his bladder which had a blockage and HUNDREDS of stones. We opted for the surgery, we couldn't bare to loose our baby. He spent about three weeks recovering and has been a happy kitty since. The only thing is the surgery set us back even more beyond the wedding and car repairs. His bills and prescription food costed us about $4000, so anything helps! Thank your so much for your generosity in helping us keep this beautiful soul alive and well!
