I am Yana, the founder of Olivia & Diego Philippines. The brand is a start-up accessory line which showcases upcycled handmade jewelries made out of old garment t-shirts that would otherwise be in land fill sites. We also work with marginalized communities, conducting livelihood trainings and programs to help them get involved in the production operations. One of our communities is Talikala, Inc., an organization that aims to empower women who were involved in sex trafficking.

We teach them the necessary skills to produce these beautiful jewelries. This way, they can have access to fair market as well as a more sustainable livelihood that would help them become more dignified, empowered members.

We have been trying to expand as the demand for our products are getting higher. We are now reaching out to three different communities in the wonderful island of Davao City, Philippines. These are poverty-stricken communities willing to change their lives through the series of livelihood program we will be conducting.

With this, we need funding to run successful livelihood programs. The funds would be used for our transportation to get to these areas (as some of them are in the provinces), materials, equipment and food for the community.

We hope you help us make this possible. Let's all work together towards changing the world by empowering individuals, communities and villages.
