The Wetzel Foundation, Inc.'s Fundraiser:

Eadie Wetzel Davis-Olympic Family Solidarity To Beat ALS/Dementia

THE STORY:

On January 10, 2015, the Olympic community lost a beloved member.  Eadie Wetzel Davis passed after battling ALS and Frontotemporal Dementia.

Eadie was a dynamic woman. Those who knew her remember her humor and passion, as well as an amazing inner strength, which endured throughout her devastating condition.

Many Olympians knew that Eadie was suffering. Their incredible support helped her and her family keep their spirits up through extremely difficult times.

We’ve started the Wetzel Foundation in Eadie’s honor. Our goal is research and education. Our vision, a world without ALS and dementia. We are already working with leading researchers at Northwestern and Columbia Universities.

Your donations will help the many families affected by these diseases. Together, we can show them that there is hope. We will help them to face the future. Because we are on their team.
