Okay, here's the deal. Diagnosed 5 years ago with stomach cancer. Went into remission, gave me just enough time to breathe and I saw my Mom die of a brain tumor. Now my cancer is back. Well, sh*t, that sucks.
I applaud organizations that spend their time fundraising for research or spreading the word about specific cancers and diagnoses. It's important stuff. But you know what, I can't walk 40 f*ckin' miles, do a triatholon, wear pink for a month or ask you to buy some high fructose corn syrup-laced cookies.
Instead I ask you to help I2Y - I'm To Young For This Cancer Foundation. We are the 18-40 year old friends, neighbors, sons, daughters, stories you've heard about (or not) and we are the ones having to freeze our sperm and eggs because of chemo or stay at the same job because our insurance can't lapse and we won't get covered.
So please make it a little easier for us and support this forum, which helps younger cancer patients now and gives us a chance to plan for the future.
Thanks for your support.
