Once In A Lifetime Trip For A Social Work Student!!
Organized by: Kimberly Bell
EVENT DATE Jun 26, 2016
A once in a lifetime opportunity trip to The Joint World Conference on Social Work, Education, and Social Development 2016 in Seoul, South Korea! This opportunity has been presented to the Masters of Social Work students at Roberts Wesleyan College in Rochester, New York. Money is tight for graduate students and I am hoping you might be willing to assist in making this trip a reality for me. I am currently working towards a Masters Degree in Social Work at Roberts Wesleyan, Rochester, New York. I have been presented with the opportunity to attend this international conference. This trip is part of a self-study class in the area of International Social Work and International Social Welfare. My group will be leaving the last week of June, 2016 and will return the first week of July, 2016. My campus is doing its best to keep costs low, but the total cost of this trip is still outside of my meager student budget. Please see the link below for further details on the conference. http://www.swsd2016.org/eng/index.php The cost of the trip has been quoted at $3,500 at this time. This price includes the cost of the conference, air travel, transportation, travel costs, and food. This would be a great opportunity for anyone who is working or studying Social Work or Social Welfare and I am hoping that you are willing to help me make this trip a reality. You can help by donating: $5, $10, $20, $50, $100 or more, whatever you feel comfortable with would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
