Jason and Corey are running the LA marathon relay to help raise money for One Kid One World!* That means they are each responsible for running 13.1 miles. For Jason, who is a decent runner, the task was reminding his body how to run again. It has been almost a decade since he ran this far. He has trained hard and will probably finish the first leg of the relay with a respectable time. Then it will be Corey's turn. In case you've never seen her run -- well, it's not poetry in motion. In fact, it's awkward and painful looking. When she finishes her share of 26.2 miles in Santa Monica, it'll be a miracle. Corey ran cross country in high school and lost to everyone. Even the pregnant girl on the team. To be fair, the girl was only in her first trimester -- but still. If Jason and Corey can torture their tired old bodies for 26.2 miles, maybe you can help by donating to One Kid One World. Seriously, we are old** and running is hard.
*Also to lose weight since having a baby makes one fat.
**Jason is much older.
