FTIT Ghana is non-profit Information Communication Technology (ICT) organization that seeks to promote ICT education delivery in Basic and Senior High Schools in Ghana. We are dedicated to be a benchmark ICT education Awareness Organization committed to providing cutting- edge solutions that meet the present and future needs of businesses and the country at large. Mission Our mission is to bring together stakeholders from the business sector, the government, the academia and from non-governmental organizations, giving them the opportunity to support and to work for increasing the women's professional participation in the sphere of ICT, as well as to take part in the development of technological and engineering products. Projects 1. ONE SCHOOL "ONE" COMPUTER PROJECT THROUGH EXCURSIONS: The main objective of the programme is to promote ICT education/awareness in Ghana by helping students to visit important place where ICT applications are applied most.. ONE SCHOOL "ONE" COMPUTER PROJECT THROUGH EXCURSIONS is designed to give ICT and Computer Science students the opportunity to come face to face with speakers from high profile companies, who through case studies, will present the most current ICT issues within their industry and Computer Science curricula including Innovation & Enterprise, the effects of ICT on Society and How Organizations Use & Exchange Information. We also believe this opportunity will expose the student to the world of ICT and also promote socialization among student. This programme will bring students from various schools and the student will have the opportunity to interact with their colleagues from other schools around the world. We believe this project will improve ICT education in our schools and we are therefore seeking partnership from your office for full commencement of the project. We have recommendation/Approval letters from Director General (GES), Regional Director ( Eastern Region) and some other District/Municipal Directors of Ghana Education Service .
LETTER OF INTRODUCTION FTITGHANA - ONE SCHOOL "ONE" COMPUTER PROJECT THROUGH EXCURSIONS This to introduce to you FTIT GHANA a registered It company based in Koforidua that seeks to promote ICT education delivery in Basic and Senior High Schools in the country through excursions. The organization's programme aims at promoting ICT education/awareness in Ghana by helping students to visit important places the ICT applications are applied most to expose them to the world of ICT. It will also give opportunity for students to socialize and share ideas. A set of computer each would be donated to all participating schools as teaching learning material. The Ghana Education Service Management deems this intervention laudable and appropriate in our schools as the intervention has the potential; to increase and sustain students' interest in learning ICT. By this letter, the President of FTITGHANA is requested to contact the respective Metro/Municipal/District directors of Education for further discussions on the modalities of the programme. Heads of Schools are to strategize how to integrate the programme into the schools' co-curricular activities. The programme is fully funded by the organization's sponsors and does not have any cost implication for students. Please give FTITGHANA the necessary support to ensure the success of the programme.
