BENEFITING: American Lung Association
EVENT DATE: Oct 19, 2013
Almost a year ago, Raytheon Government Relations colleague, Chip Kennett was diagnosed with Stage IV lung cancer. Chip, a native of North Conway, New Hampshire is an honor to work with and to be a part of our lives. He's one of the most hardworking, encouraging, and truly inspirational people we know. In honor of Chip, his beautiful wife, Sheila and their adorable children, Joe and Crosby. Members of the Government Affairs team and friends will be participating in the October 19th West Virginia Mid-Atlantic Tough Mudder to raise funds for the American Lung Assocation on their behalf. Chip himself raced two Tough Mudders and it's the least we can do to show our support and to continue to share their message.
To learn more about Chip and his beautiful family and their journey, please visit their blog at www.teamkennett.com.
If you don't know what a Tough Mudder is, please visit www.toughmudder.com. In short, it's a 10-12 mile british military forces inspired course with 24 obstacles (sounds fun, huh?)
We encourage you to be generous in your contribution and route us on as we embark on this endeavor. The team will keep you posted with our efforts including training and event day success.
Tough Mudder team members include:
