BENEFITING: Operation Access
ORGANIZER: Operation Access
EVENT DATE: Jul 29, 2012
Hi, all! Thank you for visiting my fundraising page for Operation Access - Bridging the Healthcare Gap.
Many of you may have noticed that I've been a bit obsessed with running lately. This is because in celebration of turning 33, I will be running the San Francisco Marathon - 1st half marathon on July 29th, 10 days after my 33rd birthday.
This year I'd like to direct my running-philanthropy efforts towards an amazing local organization called Operation Access.
Operation Access acts as a "bridge" between the uninsured and underserved people in the Bay Area needing, but unable to afford, outpatient surgical and specialty care and the medical volunteers, hospitals, and referring clinics that wish to provide such care, free of charge, to support those in their own communities. Pretty awesome right? You can learn more about the organization by going to: www.operationaccess.org.
Please help me celebrate my 33rd birthday and efforts to narrow the healthcare gap by donating to Operation Access! Thank you for your help!
