BENEFITING: LEAVE NO VETERAN BEHIND
Transitioning back into civilian life is just as difficult as transitioning into military life. Our aim is to help vets by providing temporary living quarters for them to gather themselves and plan their next step in life.
The Plan - "Operation New Beginning" Our plan is to renovate as many local homes and/or commercial buildings as possible in Uniontown and convert them into suitable temporary residences for veterans. We are in need of as much money, manpower, tools, and equipment as we can get. Any donation, no matter how small or large is GREATLY appreciated and I assure you it will be going towards a great cause. If you're a veteran of OIF/OEF (no offense to older veterans but I feel this project is a job for us younger vets who were recently discharged from service) willing to put in the necessary hours to help your fellow brothers in arms in rebuilding a brighter future for the people that truly deserve it most...We need your help! The living conditions have been rocky so far, but we have accepted the responsibility of coping with a mild burden in order to pave the way for others to join and make their transition less like that of a deployment and more like an opportunity for future success. With time, and effort we can raise a decaying city into a haven. I promise you 110% effort has and will continue to be put into our cause.
THE ULTIMATE GOAL OF "Operation New Beginning"- As of 12-June-2013 I'm currently filing the initial paperwork for approval of a 501(c)3 Non-Profit Organization to consider "Operation New Beginning" as a non-taxable charitable organization. The goal in mind would be to provide free housing for all veterans in need, as well as paying them for what ever services provided by means of government grants and charitable donations. Forming a self sufficient community of driven, passionate individuals who share the same experiences and adversities, all working together to help ensure a positive step forward for our fellow vets past, present, and future.
