BENEFITING: OCEAN RESEARCH & CONSERVATION ASSOCIATION INC
ORCA’s Kilroy networks use 21st century technology to provide conservation and regulatory managers with missing information they need to do their jobs. ORCA Kilroy networks will soon revolutionize how America protects its coastal waters.
The practice of collecting hand samples at sporadic intervals gives only a snapshot of water quality at a particular time and place. In place of hand sampling, we need networks of low-cost, continuously reporting monitors, strategically deployed throughout watersheds to instantly report changes in water quality, current direction, and other parameters. Such a system will not only notify stakeholders of pollution events, but can also assist with locating potential upstream pollution sources.
Please help ORCA expand Kilroy’s army!
