We are a team of reasercher and documentary maker who would like to make a trip to Swaziland in order to understand the needs of vulnerable children/teenagers and to liaise with current initiatives already under-way.
The team researcher obtained her doctorate in psychology from the University of Oxford, England. she intend to move into research addressing youth health and well-being and feel that she may be able offer some support and ideas for current initiatives in Swaziland aimed at helping aids affected children. she is currently working on the idea of developing some educational interventions aimed at fostering resiliency in vulnerable children and orphans. To this end she have been in discussion with several organisations in Swaziland including UNAIDS and Save The Children.
Filmmker working on a documentary to clearly, increasing awareness about the issues currently facing many Swazi children (including poverty, HIV/AIDS) and highlighting the work already under-way could potentially be of great benefit to vulnerable children and to the organisations trying to help those children.
