Help bring education and a brighter future to thousands of underprivileged students in Israel's periphery! Tax ID 13-5562424

On December 1, ORT America will participate in #GivingTuesday, a global day dedicated to giving.

This year let the world know about your commitment to education by supporting ORT. It’s easy to do, and you can multiply the effectiveness of your gift:

CrowdRise allows you to set up your very own campaign page, which will allow you to set your own goal and invite your friends, family, and coworkers to help you reach it!

Once you’re done, don’t forget to share your support on Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, or wherever your friends are!

Your giving will support education for underpriviledged students in Israel's periphery, through World ORT Kadima Mada's YOUniversity Centers of Excellence.

World ORT Kadima Mada's "YOUniversity" program has provided life-changing education to thousands of under-privileged students in Israel for the past three years, and in that time it has become a flagship program. From robotics to science experiments to app development, the YOUniversity programs have given eager students a path to discovery that they could never have imagined before. Already the program has produced its fair share of star students:

  • Daniel Elimelech - a formerly underachieving student from Dimona, he became known as "180" after joining the YOUniversity robotics team, and has since achieved top grades in math, science and English.
  • Sagiv Lugasi - a student at the YOUniversity Center in Nahariya, his game "Skyball" was awarded App of the Month by none other than the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.

Sadly the vital partnership World ORT has with the Ministry for the Development of the Negev and Galilee to sustain this flagship program is coming to an end, and unless new sources of funding can be found, the YOUniversity Centers of Excellence will be forced to close their doors. No YOUniversity Centers will mean fewer top educational achievers choosing to study the scientific and technological subjects that are essential to Israel's continued success in research and knowledge-based industries. Kadima Mada needs your help today! Please make your gift or pledge today and help us fund this life-changing program that has already made such a measurable difference to Israel’s future.
