OSF HOLLYWOOD TAKEOVER: Trendy Butler's Hike To The Hollywood Sign

Orphaned Starfish Foundation is teaming up with Trendy Butler to climb for a cause by leading the largest group of hikers up the adventurous trail to the Hollywood Sign!
The Hike will take place on Griffith Park's Mt. Hollywood Trail- Charlie Turner Trailhead. Hike level is "easy" and suitable for both adults and children.
This hike together is to raise awareness about the Orphanded Starfish Foundation; 100% of all proceeds will be donated to the wonderful children of OSF.
ABOUT OSF: Founded in 2001, The Orphaned Starfish Foundation is dedicated to working with orphans, victims of abuse and at risk youth. OSF’s mission is to foster lasting change in the lives of the children we serve by giving them the opportunity to develop vocational skills through computer technology and gain employment that will enable them to overcome the cycle of poverty and abuse.

About Our Foundation:
OSF’s programs address the challenges facing disadvantaged children and at-risk youth by providing them with technology training. OSF collaborates with in- country partners to identify project sites with the greatest need and to maximize impact.
Specific objectives consist of:
• improving learning skills and stimulating interest in learning
• providing access to the Internet and other programs to widen opportunities for learning and give a broader vision of
• increasing the children’s self-esteem and enhancing their overall quality of life
• helping them take advantage of employment opportunities
To date, OSF has funded the installation and maintenance of forty-nine computer centers in American Samoa, Argentina, Bolivia, Brazil, Chile, Costa Rica, Colombia, Dominican Republic, Ecuador, El Salvador, Ethiopia, Haiti, Honduras, Jamaica, Guatemala, Mexico, Nepal, Nicaragua, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Puerto Rico, United States and Uruguay. The foundation makes a difference in the lives of over 10,000 children and at-risk youth.
