The boys' home Church of Our Lady of Angels is a boarding school that collects 50 boys from 10 to 16 years, many are orphans or children who come from very poor families; they are given free room and board by Father Michael John. They are fed, housed, clothed and go to school 10 minutes walk from their Boys ‘home We have many ongoing projects to improve their lives, starting with some restoration of their building which dates from the eighteenth century; we must strengthen part of the ceiling repaint the whole area where they sleep and study They benefit from tutoring, music lessons and singing for the church choir in Tamil, helping and participating in church Mass. They are Christian and Hindu children from very poor families or with no homes at all but all this works is due only thanks to donations. For a year now we are helping them everyday. We tutor them in their hours off of class and find time for all the home work. We make sure they are all in good health, by taking them to the doctor & dentist when needed. We make sure all to monitor hygiene and take care of all emergencies that may arise. We want to be able to buy new mats on which they can sleep at night, buy a piece of furniture to put the dinner dishes. We have a bazaar each year which is going on right now August 8th, This money raised goes to provide dental care which is very expensive! We want to offer them a decent education and a decent life. If you are able to help in anyway we make the most out of every dollar taken in. If you're able to even give the price of one fast-food value meal, we can feed one boy for one week with that. Thanks for any and all help!
