Typhoon Haiyan, also known as Yolanda, has been called the worst storm in history with winds recorded at up to 195 mph. As the typhoon passed, it has left a catastrophic trail of damage that some have never seen before, leaving children, families and loved ones in total disaster.
Major flood waters, down power lines, massive trees lay unmovable on the roads, entire villages wiped out, little or no food and drinking water. All this just after a major earthquake, centered in central Philippines just weeks ago, adding to the devastating turmoil.
We have a plan
Some of our own staff have family members in the Philippines, so we understand the current conditions and the importance of a willing spirit. We want to send ourselves to the areas effected to directly help with emergency search and rescue authorities, emergency food and clean water provision, pay for emergency medical care and move displaced families and loved ones to safer and ore livable conditions.
We need your support
We are not wasting any time to take action. We will give of ourselves as much as we can to help in many ways including raising funds to provide aid in the Philippines.
