ComfortBox for Cancer Patients
Organized by: Christopher Whitlatch
I'm Paul Stewart, cancer survivor. I have created the ComfortBox project to raise awareness for head and neck cancer. I will be sharing posts from my daily routine, including nutrition, exercise and other ways that I am surviving cancer. In addition, I will be popping up all over southwestern PA with demonstrations. During my treatments, I found things that helped me deal with pain and discomfort. Things like lotions, essential oils, bath salts, coconut water, Biotine, candles, massage and reiki. It is my hope to share what I have learned and learn from others to help patients currently fighting cancer or other debilitating diseases. I have assembled items into a ComfortBox and will deliver these boxes to area organizations for distribution. The ComfortBox also has items that a patient can share with their caregiver, the unsung heroes of a recovery.I will deliver the ComfortBox to local organizations for distribution to patients. You can help me by by sponsoring a ComfortBox with a donation of $50.00. Each ComfortBox comes with a note saying who it was sponsored by and can be personalized in honor or in memory of a family member or friend. We welcome groups of friends and family coming together with smaller donations to support a box or boxes. Any donation amount will be put towards the making of a box.
