In April, Trashwater will return to Nicaragua to begin their work with Imagine Ministry. Imagine Ministry runs a pre-school, feeding program, and tutoring for over 75 children and growing. Trashwater will install a permanant UV sanitation system with sediment pre-filteration. The system will provide a life time of clean water to hundreds of children in an area where the water quality is very unstable and often dangerous. With the help of Imagine Ministry Trashwater will also launch a community outreach program that supplies health and hygiene education as well as a simple in home sanitation system: The system includes a bucket, a spout, and a granulated chlorine dispenser. Trashwater will also partner with Hope and Development who works with over 30 schools in the governance of Villa El Carmen in Nicaragua. Trshwater will help support Hope and development with school supplies while providing hygene education and clean water initiatives. Please consider helping Trashwater to supply a life time of clean water to children, families, and communities affected by the burden of un-safe water.
