EVENT: 2017 Fargo Marathon
Cancer sucks. The dreaded "c" word has affected relatives and friends, and relatives and friends of friends. It has likely impacted you in a similar way, shape, or form - if not directly. Cancer has no regard for one's age and no regard for one's health. I'd like to run away from it entirely, but know that is not possible. However, I will be running in the Fargo Half Marathon in May and I'd like to raise money towards research and conquering this dreadful disease. I'd like to show my support for those who are battling this today and to others who have been affected... and unfortunately, for those whom will be affected. I'm not a surgeon, I'm not even in the medical field - but this is one (very) small way I can help.
If you'd like to make a donation towards this cause, please do so. If you'd like me to represent someone in particular, please send me a message with the name or names of people you'd like to be represented during this run. I plan to wear a t-shirt with any names that have been submitted. I am optimistic that we will eventually outrun cancer.
