Hi! My name is Ozzy Osbourne, like the rock star! I am a young shih tzu, about 5 years old! I was found wandering around the streets of Killeen, TX. I was picked up by Killeen Animal Services and the awesome people at Killeen Pets Alive! pulled me from the shelter. Don't be sad, it doesn't matter what happened to me before because I have found my forever!! This nice lady named SHARRRRRRROOOOOONNNNN, wait, I always say that. It's Shannon. So this nice lady Shannon is fostering me but guys, it only took one week, and she can't live without me so I'm adopted!! I mean, I am the prince of darkness how could she resist. I'm also a snuggle bug and learned the rules quick! I should mention here that I am completely blind. My eyes are all cloudy and yucky. Shannon took me to the best vet ever, Dr. Hensley and she said I need a bilateral enucleation. In short, my eyes have to go. They bother me a lot, I rub my face around on the grass and my beds (I have more than one!) a lot. I also have this thing called ataxia. That means I have a neurological condition where I lose my balance some and shake a little. (Who's that sounds like? I have the best name ever!) We think that the eye removal might could help me with that too! So this is where you come in! Dr. Hensley put together the treatment plan and everything including the surgery, the anesthesia, the nursing care, the night or two in the hospital, the pain meds, etc comes to $1250. My mom and Killeen Pets Alive! are going to do their best but I suggested why not ask all my new friends?! I'd be forever grateful for your help! Thank you for anything you can do for me!! Rock on!! Love, Ozzy-kins!
