BENEFITING: WATER FOR SOUTH SUDAN
EVENT DATE: May 01, 2018
Last year, Daniel Bagley Elementary School's P5 class of 4th and 5th grade Montessori students raised over $6000 to build a well in South Sudan, and won the Iron Giraffe Challenge, which included an in-person visit from Salva Dut, the founder of WFSS. They were so inspired, they want to do it again!
In 2015, inspired by Salva Dut's story in 'A Long Walk to Water', Ms. H's class of 4th and 5th graders at Daniel Bagley Elementary began fundraising to drill a well in South Sudan, so that families on the other side of the world will have safe, clean water close to their homes.
