One week to go!
June 10, 2016
BENEFITING: IPSWICH RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION INC
ORGANIZER: IPSWICH RIVER WATERSHED ASSOCIATION INC
EVENT DATE: Jun 18, 2016
We are going to paddle in the first ever Paddle-a-thon for the Ipswich River Watershed Association on Saturday, June 18. More info below. Please consider contributing to my fundraising goal of $500, or consider paddling yourself, with family and friends! It's going to be a great day, a great party afterwards, and it's certainly a great cause!! Thank you!
We are paddling (canoes, kayaks, stand up paddle boards are all welcome) to keep the Ipswich River clean and flowing. The Ipswich River was named one of the most endangered rivers in the nation (because it dries up) but together, we'll change that. We're in the solutions business. We come up with solutions for the river's problems. We're in the joy business, too. We help people connect with and enjoy the river. Please show your support for clean, wonderful water by making a donation today. You may avoid processing fees and mail a check (payable to IRWA, with "Paddle-a-thon" on the note line to 143 County Rd, Ipswich 01938) or click the DONATE button on this page.
The River has no voice without us, without you! The river is under tremendous pressure and must compete with many human needs and activities. Approximately 350,000 people and businesses depend on the river for drinking water alone. By raising money and awareness you will help protect the river and the life it sustains. Paddle for clean water! For more information on event logistics and the Ipswich River visit http://www.ipswichriver.org/paddle-a-thon-2016/
