Homelessness is a problem that impacts everyone, whether you personally have a home or not. If you live in a community that has a homeless population, you are impacted. You encounter homeless people in stores, in public buildings such as libraries, and in area parks. They often go unacknowledged, but they are present and their need is real.
PADS is doing something to help homeless men, women, and children. They provide a safe place to sleep and warm meals to eat. More importantly, they offer recognition and respect to people who are often marginalized. PADS makes a difference in the lives of those who are struggling in these difficult economic times.
To help support PADS, I will be participating in the annual Sleepout for PADS on May 11, 2013. I will spend just one night outside, with none of my usual comforts I have grown accustomed to - running water, a safe home, TV, electricity to run so many convenience items...the list is long. Won't you partner with me? Donate what you can to help bring some humanity to a segment of our community that lives on the edge.
Thanks for your help!!!
