BENEFITING: RONALD MCDONALD HOUSE OF NEW YORK
EVENT DATE: May 29, 2015
Paideia School 15 will be hosting a series of charity events throughout the year to benefit the Ronald McDonald House in New York City. Here, children afflicted with various forms of debilitating cancers live with their families while they undergo intensive medical treatments at nearby NY specialty hospitals. Their mission is to make life as comfortable and meaningful as possible for these families.
It is the vision of our school to help with their plight. Life for children should be spent having fun, being creative, being effortless...not worrying about medication, needles, and serious disease related worries.
One night in the Ronald McDonald House should cost approximately $235.00 - the families are asked to pay $35.00 (per family), which includes meals, room/board, and all facilities. Fundraising and volunteerism is the only way the house can survive. Please be as generous as possible and help us raise money to continue to allow these families to live with as little worry as necessary.
