This Sunday night, let's make the world a little MORE beautiful for children in need. Join me for a Sunset Yoga class benefiting SOS Children's Villages. The class is free- but you can make a donation of $10 or more (suggested) to help give kids, with severe physical challenges, a safe, loving home to grow up in.
The money raised will benefit SOS Children's Villages Tuxtla in Mexico, an orphanage for children with special needs that we're trying to save from being shut down.
Help us bring beauty & color into their world AND keep their orphanage open!

More about my love for this nonprofit...
I have worked with SOS Children's Villages for the last 9 years (1st as the SOS School Art Teacher in Bethlehem & most recently at the SOS-USA Office in DC). I have returned to paint murals with my former students in Bethlehem twice & I have gone to 5 other SOS Villages to visit children & paint murals. Next week, I will travel to the orphanage in Tuxtla to paint a mural with the children there. This specific orphanage specializes in providing long term care for children with severe physical disabilities. The mural is part of an Open House to gain support from local community to keep the orphanage open & self-sustainable.
