Palatal Augmentation Prostheses
Organized by: Linda Martin
My brother Arthur Bellerose, was diagnosed with oral cancer last year. Since then, he has gone through numerous chemotherapy and radiation treatments. The cancer spread to Arthur's tongue, and unfortunately, he had to have a full Glossectomy. Arthur can no longer swallow solid foods and must receive his food through a feeding tube. Arthur also cannot speak like he used to because he can't pronounce most words without his tongue. We are hoping to raise money to pay for a Palatal Augmentation Prostheses (PAP) for Arthur. The PAP would allow Arthur to swallow so he would able to eat pureed foods again. The PAP may also help him speak again. Our goal is to raise $4,000. That's a lot of money and that is why we're asking for your help. Every little bit counts. Even if you can only spare a couple of dollars, that would help him get closer to reaching his goal. Thank you so much for your generosity and to anybody who donates to his cause and to improve his quality of life.
Thank you very much from his family.
