Palmetto Family Hearing Center is supporting Pierce's Project, a non-profit organization that provides support to families with extremely premature babies in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units in Charlotte, NC. Our goal in 2017 is to raise enough money to support 40 families of micropreemies in the Charlotte area. Our son, Noah, was born at 25 weeks gestation and weighed 1 pound 15 ounces. He spent the first 5 months of his life in the NICU at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte. We wish Pierce's Project had been in existence for the emotional and physical support our family needed during that time. Our owner, Dr. Gary Fike and his wife, Jenny, serve on the Board for Pierce's Project. We are passionate about giving back to families in our community. Please help us continue to be able to give back to these families and to honor our son Noah at the same time. We would also love for you to join us on Saturday, September 16th for the 4th Annual "Premature Oktoberfest: A Microbrew for Micropreeemies" as we honor Noah and other micropreemies and their families. http://www.prematureoktoberfest.com/ For more information on Pierce's Project, please visit the website at www.piercesproject.com.
