Daniel Thomann wrote -Last September I spent a week in Artesia, NM with the AILA Pro Bono Project. In the months since, all my clients were released on small bonds except one mother and her son, who have been detained for 358 days. They finally received a bond last week but her family in North Carolina is unable to pay it. RAICES in San Antonio has generously offered to post their bond, and with your help we can pay them back, so that they can continue to do this for others in the same situation. The Paper Airplane Fund will help raise funds to allow RAICES to keep helping our clients. Donors will have the option of being paid back as the family is gradually able to, or you can have your donation roll over to help other families in the same situation. If you are a pro bono attorney contact us to help you start a page. This one is for L-R-L and Y-F-R, a 4 year old boy who loves paper airplanes.
