THIS FUNDRAISER HAS BEEN TRANSFERRED TO A NEW FUNDRAISING PAGE AT:
If you came here because you want to donate, please follow this link and donate to the new page, to ensure that all money goes directly to Invisible CHildren's new Protection Plan for the Congo.
Thank you so much!!
Invisible Children is an incredible organization committed to ending the 25-year long war that has brought death and destruction across Uganda, the Congo, and southern Sudan. They also work to reestablish people's lives by creating jobs, building and repairing schools, helping children afford education, and aiding communication between war affected regions.
Emilee and I hand make the bracelets with beads made from magazines and newspapers. Donate $10 (or more if you're feeling spendy) and we will send you TWO! Let us know if you have a color preference, but we can't be all too specific, because the beads really depend on what kinds of papers we find.
(Crowdrise requires a $10 or higher donation. If you only have $5 to buy one, you can donate to mycharitywater.org/paperbeads and that money will go to build clean water wells in countries all over the world instead.)
We know you because we are part of you. We don't have much money to give. But we have been blessed with so much in this country, why not give what little we do have to spare to bless the lives of these wonderful Ugandans and Congolese?
Much love and gratitude! Every bit helps!
(P.S. If you are going to need me to mail the bracelets to you, email me with what you would like and your address at firstname.lastname@example.org)
