BENEFITING: Humane Society for Hamilton County
ORGANIZER: Humane Society for Hamilton County
EVENT DATE: Sep 19, 2015
This adorable girl is Elsa. She was found by a concerned citizen who could tell she was injured so they brought her to the Humane Society for Hamilton County. Elsa didn't have any use of one of her back legs, it was completely stiff as if it were frozen. Her only chance at having a pain free life was to have her leg amputated. She also had a mammary tumor that needed to be removed.
Just look at her pictures! It is clear she is now a very happy gir and she's getting around better on 3 legs than she was with 4! Many shelters would have euthanized Elsa, but the Humane Society for Hamilton County believes that every animal deserves a second chance regardless of age, breed or treatable medical condition. But Elsa's surgeries wouldn't have been possible without the donations and support from people like you!
Your donation is tax deductible and it will go directly to the Survivor Program - a special fund for animals in need of medical, sometimes even life-saving, treatment. No amount is too small and it is greatly appreciated not only by me, but by the warm fuzzy faces of the homeless cats and dogs you are helping.
What your donation means:
- $50 feeds our animals for two days.
- $100 disinfects the shelter for one week.
- $250 vaccinates 10 dogs or cats.
- $300 saves the life of a heartworm-positive dog.
- $500 spays or neuters 14 dogs or cats.
Thank you for your support!!!
