The Story

EVENT DATE: Oct 24, 2015

The 5th Annual National Pit Bull Awareness Day Parade of Pit Bulls will be parading the streets of Littleton, Colorado on October 24th, and we'll be sharing loads of pit bull cheer along the way!  For our 5 year celebration we're ready to party big, while raising funds for two wonderful organizations, the Humane Society of the South Platte Valley, and the Colorado State University Flint Animal Cancer Center.

The Humane Society of the South Platte Valley (HSSPV) is one of a few shelters in Colorado that champions for pit bull type dogs, and they have helped re-home hundreds since opening their doors in December 2009. Many dogs that would have faced euthanasia due to breed bans in other cities, receive shelter and care at HSSPV until they are adopted into loving, forever families.

The CSU Flint Animal Cancer Center is an incredible resource to our Colorado community with a mission is to improve the prevention, diagnosis and treatment of cancer in pet animals. Their research and knowledge translates to also benefit people with cancer.

We're super excited to support these fabulous Colorado organizations..let's show them some pit bull love!
