Paragon Servers Guide to Success
Organized by: Rebekah McDaniel
Paragon Servers is a set of Team Fortress 2 servers dedicated to bettering the tf2 community and providing a safe haven for players and staff alike. Our community is going to be hosted on a Windows Vista, but in order to attract a larger ammount of players, we're going to need a fully functioning website to introduce new players to our gameservers.
The money we earn will go to the purchasing of said website for a month, which will serve as sort of a "test run" for our community. This website will harbor the join connections for the servers, allowing anyone in the world to connect to our games.
Despite us being eager to get the website immediately launched, there's no specific time limit to our funding in order to insure that there's no rush. As soon as our goal is met, the website will be purchased for a months time, which will determine whether or not we'd like to continue with our website immediately or stall out for further modifications.
Ever since I was just experimenting with minecraft in 5th grade, I knew that server hosting was something unique and that I'd love to delve more into the topic. To my disadvantage, I never got a chance to try due to computer model limitations. Now that I have the ability to host, it would mean so much to me to be to finally launch this project and do so successfully. Along the way, I've learned so much about computers and servers, including coding, website building, and developing. This, up until now, has only been to further my knowledge in the world of hosting, so I'm very grateful that I've been given this wonderful opportunity to share what I've learned with so many other people. So, without further ado, if you plan to donate to my cause, I want to personally thank you for helping further my dream.
