BENEFITING: PARTNERS ASIA
During this Thanksgiving holiday centered around expressing gratitude, please allow me to say that I am so very grateful. I am thankful for having a safe home, for all of your friendships, and for all of your support to be part of my new journey to make a life changing impact in Burma. In the heart of it all, I am most thankful for what I can do to help those less fortunate than I. As a child growing up in a Burma, I was very much aware of the devastation in my home country. I remember seeing sick and homeless children on the streets of Burma, and feeling overwhelmed with sadness. I have grown up with those bitter sweet memories of Burma, and I am inspired to do something greater. With that said, I am inviting you to join me in my effort to support Partners Asia http://partnersasia.org/who-we-are/our-team/ and be a part of the development of Burma. My goal is to help Partners Asia fundraise $25,000 - $50,000 to continue building medical centers, schools and providing relief for the local communities in need.
I am proud to see my home country taking steps towards Democracy. President Obama's recent visit along side Daw Aung San Su Kyi to Burma has opened more doors for Partners Asia to form deeper relationships between Burma and United States. Even more, I am proud to see Nobel Peace Prize winner Daw Aung lead Burma step-by-step to obtain freedoms they deserve. I can not think of anything that matters more than giving back to my home country, and giving people the knowledge that will enable them to create a better life for themselves. Our aim is to foster relationships with the local communities, to build a team of leaders that can lead the path to a better tomorrow. And I invite you to be a part of this journey as I share with you every step of the way. I want everyone to know that your donations can really make a difference, for a vulnerable country like that of Burma.
