After many years of lows and rehab, my little brother, Ian, is flourishing as a young man clean for more than a year. He just graduated high school and landed a job, and together, with our Dad, we are running a Tough Mudder. Seeing Ian turn around his life through one of the most difficult situations I could imagine makes me want to use our participation in this race to raise money for the fantastic Partnership for Drug-Free Kids. This nonprofit organization aims to provide drug-free environments and resources to the children of America. I can't think of a better way to donate money than this: stopping this massive problem at the source by offering treatment and alternatives. So the three of us will be running the race on May 7, 2016 to raise money for this great cause. Our fundraising goal is $1000, and any donation, large or small, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you and stay healthy.
