Pueblo Animal Services (PAS) is committed to bettering the lives of companion animals by reducing pet overpopulation through spay and neuter. Last year PAS sterilized 4,237 animals-1,339 of which were through the donor-subsidized program. This program offers spay and neuter services to families who fall within the Federal Poverty Guidelines and don't have the means to prevent their pets from having future litters.
The goal of the Challenge is to raise $5,000 between September 29th and October 31st to fund 115 spay and neuter surgeries to income-qualified pet owners in Pueblo and Pueblo county. Friends of the Pueblo Animal Shelter will match our donations weekly if we meet them! up to $2,000! If we are one of the top fundraisers - we even have a chance at the top award of $50,000!
We are already off and running on the Saving Pets Challenge - thanks to all of our generous supporters!
