THE STORY:

This fundraiser is being organized to honor Pastor Thomas Walker and his wife, First Lady Beulah Wallker.   The pastor and his wife humbly serve and shepherd their congregation always offering spiritual support and tending to others many needs.   This is a small church so the needs are great and the resources are limited.     Their selflessness on both a personal and  spiritual  level is inspiring and they lead by example.

They are always available to their church members.   They answer their phone any time of the day or night and never question the need.   They laugh and cry with their church family and they always give a helping hand to others, no excuses.   They provide counseling, tend to their sick, they provide financial assistance in a time of crisis or need and help members with other matters such as moving and even transportation in a time of necessity.   Because the church is a small church, they often fund the church members needs and pay the church's rent and bills out of their own pockets.

Because they give so much of themselves and never tire in their efforts to help and support others including their own children and family, we would like to have a "Celebration of Faithfulness and Giving" to honor their dedication to the Lord, their spiritual family and all others that Pastor Walker and his wife so joufully embrace.

This is our way of giving back to two people who have given so much of themselves and it is also our way of thanking them for the tremendous spiritiual, emotinal and financial support.
