Pedaling for PathStone is a fundraising bike ride that will support PathStone’s unwavering mission to create opportunities for independence and financial stability for people from all walks of life. This 62-mile bike ride will take us through beautiful rural farmlands southwest of Rochester stopping at strategic break points. The Genesee Country Museum’s Nature Center will be our “refueling” stop with comfort stations and refreshments. We will end up back at PathStone for a light lunch and some thirst-quenching beverages in our backyard!
The dollars raised by Pedaling for PathStone will help to support PathStone’s mission of creating opportunities for people from all walks of life. Registration fees and donations will be directed to the PathStone Foundation which works to supplement the shortfall between government grants and the actual cost of services provided by PathStone Corporation. Funding from federal, state and local public grants and contracts are not able to fully meet the needs of families and individuals served by PathStone. Now, more than ever, public dollars for development of affordable housing, job training programs and health and safety services are declining in spite of escalating need.
Registration for single riders is a minimum of $500 with additional riders paying $200 per rider. Please use the fundraising page that we will provide to encourage the financial support of family, friends and colleagues for your ride. Feel free to recruit additional riders as well.
